The problem
A tablespoon is not a measurement.
We scooped the same coffee three times by eye. Then three times with the Viltura. Here is what the scale said.
Scooping by eye
Spread: 8 grams · bitter, then sour, then weak
With Viltura
Spread: 0.0 grams · same cup, every morning
Anatomy
A scale that lives in the jar
Everything a kitchen scale does, in the spoon you were already reaching for.

Stainless steel bowl
Food-grade, detachable, dishwasher safe. Holds a full scoop of flour or two espresso doses.
Four-sensor load cell
The same strain-gauge tech as a full kitchen scale, shrunk into the handle. Reads to 0.1 g up to 500 g.
Backlit LCD
Big digits you can read from above while pouring. Auto-off after 2 minutes so the battery lasts.
Why people keep it out on the counter
Six reasons it never goes back in the drawer
Espresso, dialled in
18.0 g in, 36.0 g out. Stop blaming the grinder for a bad shot.
Sourdough that repeats
Baker's percentages only work if the flour is weighed. Now it is.
Protein without the guess
A heaped scoop can be 8 g off. That is a third of your serving.
Spices you can repeat
Nail a curry once, write down the grams, cook it the same forever.
Baby formula & meds
Precise doses where eyeballing is not an option.
Travel, gym, office
It is a spoon. It goes in the bag with the shaker.

Questions we actually get
How accurate is it really?
0.1 g resolution across the whole 500 g range. For reference, a single coffee bean weighs about 0.15 g.
Can I weigh liquids?
Yes. The bowl holds about 30 ml, and the ml mode converts for water-based liquids.
Is the bowl dishwasher safe?
The stainless bowl detaches and goes in the dishwasher. The handle holds the electronics — wipe it with a damp cloth only.
Does it come with a battery?
No. It runs on a single CR2032 coin cell, which we cannot ship — lithium cells are restricted on most routes. They cost about a dollar in any supermarket.
What if it arrives damaged?
Send us a photo and we ship a replacement or refund you. No return needed.
How long is shipping?
1–3 business days to prepare, then 7–15 business days in transit. Tracking by email.
What is the return policy?
14 days from delivery, money back, no reason needed.
